BASE is providing planning and programming services for the Charles R. Drew’s University of Medicine & Science to develop the University’s Campus Master Plan. This document will guide future development for a 20-year timeline, incorporating technological changes, new student residential accommodation and recreational facilities, lecture theatres, incubator space, research laboratories and vivarium. Working with the University, BASE coordinated multiple workshops with faculty, staff, and students to obtain their input into the campus program. BASE is also working with the County Supervisor’s Office and LA County Regional Planning staff to coordinate the preliminary planning and environmental approvals.
